The Perth South West Metropolitan Alliance (formally South West Group) is a longstanding alliance of six Local Governments in the South West Metropolitan Region of Western Australia.
The Alliance members include the following councils: City of Rockingham, City of Cockburn, City of Kwinana, City of Fremantle, Town of East Fremantle and City of Melville.
The Alliance exists to provide a forum and a structure for member councils to unite and collaborate for the benefit of the broader Region.
By presenting a united, strategic and long-term regional perspective, we deliver better funding, policy, sustainability and collaborative outcomes for the Region.
Advocacy
The Perth South West Metropolitan Alliance advocates for regional priorities that provide the greatest benefit to member Councils and communities. We aim to attract funding for major projects, infrastructure and services to help unlock the region’s economic potential.
Resources
The Perth South West Alliance accesses, compiles and produces information across a wide range of issues of interest to the region. Much of this information is drawn upon for our advocacy, economic development and stakeholder engagement activities.
